Dark brown strong aromatic supple plump vanilla pods. Gourmet or A grade vanilla pods have an intense flavour profile for a richer more flavourful and higher quality product. They are +16cm in length and are supple and moist with a minimum 30% moisture content and look visually attractive with a dark, oily texture. Fewer pods are required for more flavour over less time which is why many executive chefs, master brewers and distillers insist on grade A vanilla pods.
Vanilla pods are free of pesticides and grown in an organic manner without artificial fertilizers. Pods are hand sorted ensuring only the highest quality vanilla pods.
